“My stay at the Plaza was excellent. However, I made the regrettable mistake of dining at the restaurant found within the hotel called The Plaza Grill and Tavern where I was treated so poorly that instead of extending my stay for a second night I left early. The Plaza Hotel would do well to completely disassociate itself from the Plaza Grill and Tavern. In fact, I will not return to the Plaza Hotel so long as a certain employee named Brian at the Plaza Grill and Tavern is still employed there....

“Staff were friendly and efficient. Room was nicely decorated and clean. Many choices on the breakfast bar. Ample parking for oversized vehicles.”

“Clean room, comfortable bed,large bathroom. Evening snack,and breakfast are great additions. The window blind wouldn't close and the commode needed work,it ran constantly from 6 until 8a.m. 6a When I finally found someone to report it to. At check out. I couldn't find anyone earlier.”

“A.M. staff was not customer-focused and not personable (prep’ing for potential breakfast needs took precedence over serving customers); he was aware of waiting customers, but they (the customers) seemed to be more of a bother and were made to wait while he prep’ed. Hotel price/info seemed to suggest it would have been much nicer; was disappointed and believe it was definitely overpriced (believe the prices should have been more similar to a Motel 6 rather than a Hilton or Fairfield).”

“Great value for the money. Wonderful historical building experience. Great people working there.”

“The room and bed were great. The property is run down and the grounds are not maintained. Dog poop everywhere so you must stay on the walkway. My biggest issue was that the manager/owner lied about coffee being available and the cowardly way he used his employees to do it. Was traveling cross country and I specifically asked the front desk clerk before checking in. I watched her go speak to Amir, who sent her back to lie to my face. “Check in was quick and easy. We were given a recently renovated room. It was quite nice, except for the orange, ugly old bed spread. It was Not the new brand standard. The room was very clean. Kudos to the housekeeping staff. Weeds and property need a little work! But overall, our stay was pleasant, we felt safe and the ac worked great. ”

It actually made me super sick and I wound up leaving after just a few hours in the middle of the night plus there was a guy across the parking lot with the windows and shades open with basically no clothes on ”
